/v/ is a 4chan imageboard dedicated to video games. It was one of the original boards built on the site and has since evolved to become one of the most popular video game discussion forums on the internet.

/v/ (Video Games) was founded in October 2004, making it one of 4chan’s oldest boards that is still active in its original form.

Since its inception, the board has grown to become one of the most popular and well-known on the web.

The board’s popularity escalated to the point that it was divided into three separate boards: /vg/ (Video Game Generals), /vr/ (Retro Games), and /vp/ (Pokémon).
