Man Who Light Fox News Christmas Tree on Fire Arrested
A Christmas tree was on fire outside the Fox News building in midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning.
After someone allegedly set fire to the tree on West 48th Street and 6th Avenue, videos uploaded on Twitter showed huge clouds of black smoke billowing from the tree. After midnight, a News 4 employee saw NYPD cops capture a suspect near the tree.
A police department spokesperson confirmed a man was in custody but investigators couldn’t confirm an incendiary device used. NBC New York reported.
