Marilyn Manson Heart-Shaped Glasses

Marilyn Manson Heart-Shaped glasses controversy and Youtube petition is the latest trending topic right now. What really happened?

Evan Rachel Wood, an actress, has started an online petition to get the video for Marilyn Manson’s 2007 song Heart-Shaped Glasses removed from YouTube.

Evan said that she was “basically r*ped on camera” while the video was being taken.

The video, which depicts Manson entering Wood without her consent, should not be permitted on YouTube or anyplace else. The Change.org petition (organized by Victoria Ambrose, an advocate for victims of domestic violence) has received over 27,000 signatures.

Evan Rachel Wood accused Manson of abuse in 2021, and numerous more women have since come out with their allegations.

Esme Bianco, a Game of Thrones actor, is one of them, suing Manson for alleged sexual assault, physical torture, and human trafficking.

Manson’s attorney Howard King stated in an interview with the media outlet The Independent on January 26, 2022, that of all the accusations made by Evan Rachel Wood about Manson, the claim about Heart-Shaped Glasses, which was shot 15 years ago, “is the most brazen and easiest to disprove, because there were multiple witnesses.”

He further stated that Evan Rachel Wood was not only completely engaged in the three-day video shot but was also there throughout the pre-production and post-production of the music shoot.

“The simulated s*-x scene took several hours to shoot with multiple takes using different angles and several long breaks in between camera setups. Brian did not have sex with Evan on that set, and she knows that is the truth.”

YouTube responds after Evan Rachel Wood Petition

“We’re monitoring the situation closely and will take appropriate action if we determine there is a breach of our creator responsibility guidelines.” YouTube said. According to Pitchfork.
