Woman, Kiyasha Truitt, shot to death in Fernwood home
A woman identified as Kiyasha Truitt was found shot to death Wednesday night in a Fernwood home on the Far South Side, Chicago police said.
The lady who is 21-years-old was found shot in her head in the basement bathroom of the home in the 200 block of West 105th Place around 10 p.m., police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Police stated that they were investigating a homicide and that no one was in custody.

According to her friends and family, Kiyasha was a ‘SWEET CRAZY FUNNY GIRL’. She studied at Lewis University and went to Morgan Park High School. Kiyasha was born on 12th Sepetember 2001.
“That beautiful smile will never be forgotten, love you forever. May you rest peacefully beautiful. Kiyasha Truitt” A friend wrote.
No other details were released from the police.
