Time New Chelsea Coach Graham Potter Started His Coaching Career

Graham Potter was appointed as Chelsea’s new manager on Thursday after leaving Brighton to replace the sacked Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, has given reasons why he decided on Graham Potter as the team’s new head coach.

“We are thrilled to bring Graham to Chelsea. He is a proven coach and an innovator in the Premier League who fits our vision for the Club.” He said.

“Not only is he extremely talented on the pitch, he has skills and capabilities that extend beyond the pitch which will make Chelsea a more successful Club.

“He has had a major impact at his previous Clubs and we look forward to his positive impact at Chelsea.

“We look forward to supporting him, his coaching team and the squad in realising their full potential in the coming months and years.”

Graham Potter Coaching Career

Graham Potter began coaching in the British university system, working with teams from the University of Hull, Leeds Metropolitan University, and the English Combined Universities, as well as serving as technical director for Ghana’s national team at the 2007 Women’s World Cup.

He made his professional debut with Ostersunds, guiding them from the fourth division to the top flight, winning the Swedish Cup and reaching the Europa League knockout stages.
